Eric Woller of MeMe's Treat Boutique has had the pleasure of appearing on TLC's Ultimate Cake Off assisting three different teams create an edible masterpiece in hopes of winning $10,000 and to have their cake featured at a marquee event. The images to the right are of the latest episode which aired on TLC February 15, 2010. In this episode, Eric assisted John Auburn of JW Deserts of Whidbey Island, WA, in creating the winning cake featured at the at the elegant Long Beach Terrace Theater for the production of the Nutcracker. Eric brought the team not only his sculpting ability but his structural and engineering magic which the team successfully defied the laws of gravity with this cake. The specifications of the cake are as follows: 9 foot tall, six foot wing span, 7 foot wide, weighed over 500 lbs, wings moved, smoke and lighting effects, and the scent of Cranberry Marmalade filled the air. The winning cake was presented during the standing ovation consisting of an audience of over 3000 Nutcracker guests and cast of dancers.
